The South Carolina Firefighters Association, in conjunction with the South Carolina Fire Academy, held a new event called the Fire Escape. South Carolina Juniors Firefighters /Fire Explorers and Sumter Career and Technology Center students learned more about what the South Carolina State Fire Academy has to offer them as they continue their firefighting careers after they complete the Career and Technology Centers programs. Students also had the opportunity to compete in several firefighting competitions and placed third in the state for the team competition. |
